The College of Engineering and the Miller School of Medicine will host a symposium in collaboration with the National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Medicine. “Engineering and Medicine: A Critical Partnership in Technobiology,” will take place on Monday, February 26, from 1:00 p.m.–4:45 p.m., at the Storer Auditorium on the Coral Gables Campus. A stellar group of speakers has been assembled for this symposium, including:
- President Julio Frenk
- Innovia LLC President/CEO Leonard Pinchuk
- University of Chicago Institute for Molecular Engineering Pritzker Director Matthew Tirrell
- College of Engineering Assistant Professor Ashutosh Agarwal
After the speakers’ presentations, President Frenk will moderate a panel discussion. A 5:00-6:00 p.m. reception will follow the discussion.
